Trusses are up!

The truss hoisting team gets organized to make sure everyone is on the same page. The tension was pretty high. Then it began ... up,up, and away!

This was literally "flying trusses" ... I held my breath as the guys scurried to do everything right and get the monsters seated properly. The first truss required some fussing around with to get it seated correctly, after that it went pretty smoothly. Each one had to be leveled and adjusted such that the peaks lined up with each other and the rest of the building.

Lars seemed pretty happy up there in the peak climbing wherever he needed to get to. Evan can be seen from above checking the alignment of each truss with the string line ... I am looking out the studio window on the 2nd floor (or third floor if you count the basement level which is the same as the garage floor level) to get this image.

Chris was up there too swinging his hammer as the braces were nailed in place to hold everything solid and steady until the stringers can be put up tomorrow.
