We now have a road sign for #13676 so contractors and friends know where we are, plus we posted the building permit on the rear side of our electric panel. Take a look at the electric service cable, its about 2 inches in diameter and brings 15,000 volts up the driveway before being transformed down to 220 volts for our consumption. The foundation forms are starting to take shape in our big dusty hole in the ground.The weather is mercurial ... today we walked to the Arkansas River (a little more than a mile) with our picnic basket dressed for winter. The sky was heavy and low above. A gale force wind pushed us from behind the whole way and snowflakes swirled all around. We munched lunch huddled together and watched a group kayak lesson on the river. Then the sun came back out and the sky returned to that lovely crisp clear blue as if nothing had happened. Amazing.
